Sam Rockwell is reportedly in "final negotiations" to star in Jonah Hill's comedy The Sitter.
TheWrap.com reports that the Moon actor, next seen on screen in Conviction, will play a villainous drug dealer, inspired by JB Smoove in Curb Your Enthusiasm.
In the film, Jonah plays a college drop out who is forced to take the three children he's babysitting with him around New York while he negotiates a drugs deal.
Where The Wild Things Are star Max Records plays one of the troublemaking children, while Sam's Conviction co-star Ari Graynor will play the female lead.
David Gordon Green is directing the comedy, which is being filmed at the moment in New York.
It was previously reported that Joaquin Phoenix had been offered the part of the drug dealer, but turned it down.
