Sandler heads for The Cobbler?
Adam Sandler looks set to star in new indie movie The Cobbler.
The 47-year-old funnyman is currently in talks about signing up for director Tom McCarthy's film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
So far few plot details are known, however sources say the movie "tells of a shoe man who has the ability to metaphysically step into the lives of the people whose shoes he repairs".
It's thought Hotel Transylvania star Adam will play the cobbler.
The actor was last seen in this summer's Grown Ups 2, and is due to start work on romantic comedy The Familymoon.
