Sandra Bullock pulled by Gravity?

Sandra Bullock could be set to star in Gravity

Sandra Bullock is reportedly in talks to star in Gravity following Natalie Portman's exit from the role.

Warner Brothers is heading towards the Oscar-winning Blind Side star to take the lead part in the outer space thriller, opposite Robert Downey Jr, insiders have told Deadline.

Natalie, who is generating Oscar buzz for her performance in Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan, turned down the film, with her spokespeople citing scheduling conflicts.

The role, which was also considered by Angelina Jolie, would be of a space station team member who tries to find her way back to earth and her daughter, after a space station is destroyed.

Naomi Watts, Marion Cotillard, Carey Mulligan, Scarlett Johansson, Sienna Miller, Rebecca Hall and Blake Lively were also on the wishlist to star in Alfonso Cuaron's movie, who also co-wrote the script with his son Jonas.
