Arnold Schwarzenegger has confirmed that he is to star as the Terminator in a new movie.
The action star had been expected to appear in the fifth film in the science fiction franchise but it wasn't known whether he would take the title role. There had even been rumours that he would play a human.
But he has now confirmed that he will be back as the Terminator and that the new film will start shooting in January, according to website The Arnold Fans.
Arnie said: "I'm very happy that the studios want me to be in Terminator 5 and to star AS the Terminator, which we start shooting in January and I'm also going to do King Conan - to play that role and also to do another Twins movie.
"So I feel very proud of that. I feel very happy and I'm looking forward to doing those films."
The star, who was the governor of California for seven years, played the cyborg assassin in three films released between 1984 and 2003, but didn't appear in the last film, 2009's Terminator Salvation, which starred Christian Bale and Sam Worthington.
