Scott Thomas: I will do more films

Kristin Scott Thomas says she likes her acting career to be varied

Kristin Scott Thomas has said she will make another film despite recent comments that she was finished with movies.

The English Patient actress said in a recent interview that she never wanted to make another film.

But now she has laughed off the comments and revealed she will be starring in a film again.

Laughing about the interview, she said: "I'm the queen of highly dramatic statements. I don't know. I am going to make another film. It's in the books. But yes."

Kristin, 52, talked about how she chooses which films to take on.

She said: "You are going to invest quite a lot of your time and energy doing this so you want to be sure of the man you're working for - the woman you're working for, even though that's pretty rare - the people you're working with, the other actors, where it is, what it's about.

"Last year I went to Thailand and shot a film (Only God Forgives) with Nicholas Winding Refn and Ryan Gosling - that was an easy choice. And then I came back to England and did a period drama about Charles Dickens with Ralph Fiennes and Felicity Jones, so you know, it gets quite varied and now I'm on stage. So I like to keep things different."

Kristin stars in Dans La Maison, released on March 29.

Responsibilities involving insurance, inheritances and taxes will command your attention. Don't put these matters off a moment longer. You may be busy with work and family, but these duties will never let up. If you continue to spend all of your energy on these things, you'll miss a golden opportunity. Ask colleagues and relatives for help with mundane errands while you focus on the long term financial future. If you don't protect your economic interests, nobody else will.More
