Selma Blair has admitted it would be "heaven" to make a third Hellboy film.
The actress played Liz Sherman, the girlfriend of Hellboy (Ron Perlman), in Guillermo del Toro's first two films in the superhero series in 2004 and 2008.
The star - who can currently be seen alongside Charlie Sheen in his TV show Anger Management - told website Bloody-Disgusting.com that she wants to reprise the role for a third movie.
She said: "It's my dream to work with Guillermo del Toro again. I just want to be near him. I love him. I miss him.
"It's my dream that one day when I'm done with the TV show they say, 'OK the movie's actually going to go!' That would be the biggest heaven."
Selma admitted the movies don't come cheap, and added: "We have to find some funding and get going with it!"
There have been rumours that a third Hellboy movie is in the pipeline, but as yet, nothing has been confirmed.
It was recently reported that filmmaker del Toro had said it could go ahead if they could secure financial backing.
