Amanda Seyfried is in talks to star in indie film While We're Young.
She would play Adam's love interest and has apparently cleared space in her autumn schedule to shoot the film.
Amanda's character is a free spirit who makes ice cream with her boyfriend, and the pair form an unlikely friendship with an older married couple played by Ben and Naomi.
While We're Young has been in the pipeline for a few years, with Arthur's Greta Gerwig originally lined up to play the younger female lead.
Amanda has voiced a part in animation Epic and can be seen later this year as the title character in Lovelace. She's currently filming Seth MacFarlane's comedy A Million Ways To Die In The West and has signed up to star opposite Chris Pine in Z For Zachariah.
