Philip Seymour Hoffman is returning to the director's chair for supernatural drama Ezekiel Moss.
The Oscar-winning actor - currently winning rave reviews for his performance in Scientology-inspired film The Master - made his directorial debut in 2010 with Jack Goes Boating.
Now the Capote star has signed up to direct the dark drama about a mysterious stranger with the power to speak with the dead, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The story, written by In Treatment's Keith Bunin sees the psychic stranger's arrival in a small Nebraska town transform the lives of the town's residents, including a widow and her young son.
Casting is yet to be announced.
Philip is due to film The Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire, playing Plutarch Heavensbee.
