Silverstone joining Gods film?

Alicia Silverstone will play a woman who discovers Greek gods in her house

Alicia Silverstone has apparently signed up for immortal comedy Gods Behaving Badly.

The Clueless star will team up with Ebon Moss-Bachrach to play a couple who discover a whole gang of Greek gods living in their home, said The Hollywood Reporter.

Christopher Walken has been cast as king of the gods Zeus, while John Turturro will lord over the underworld as Hades and Sharon Stone as Aphrodite.

The others gods include Oliver Platt as Apollo, Edie Falco as Artemis, Phylicia Rashad as Demeter, Nelsan Ellis as Dionysus, Gideon Glick, as Eros, Henry Zebrowski as Hermes and Rosie Perez as Persephone.

The comedy, which is based on Marie Phillips' novel, is Marc Turtletaub's directorial debut.

Production is expected to begin later this month in New York.
