Sir Patrick Stewart is set to play an eccentric choreographer in upcoming film Match.

Deadline reports that the Star Trek actor will take the role of a reclusive dance instructor who is visited by a couple (played by Carla Gugino and Matthew Lillard) claiming to want to interview him for a thesis.

But as the couple's true intentions emerge, Sir Patrick's character "finds himself unable to dance around the impact of decisions he made long ago".

The movie is based on a 2004 play of the same name by Stephen Belber, who has penned the script and will direct. Filming has just started in New York.

Meanwhile, Sir Patrick recently finished shooting the indie movie Hunting Elephants.

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Capricorn:

Your dry humour will be very popular. It's always difficult bringing a large group of people together. Everybody feels like they are walking on eggshells. After cracking a few jokes, you'll put the group at ease. Resist the temptation to make fun of relatives, especially the more sensitive members of the group. Nobody likes feeling singled out. Watching a light hearted comedy can also be a great way to generate a festive atmosphere. This is a time when people can put their differences aside.More
