Slade denies Daredevil rumours

Josh Hartnett was rumoured to be interested in a role in Daredevil

Josh Hartnett is not in talks to star in the Daredevil reboot, director David Slade has said.

The US actor, who previously worked with the filmmaker on horror flick 30 Days Of Night, had been linked to the Marvel superhero role after a fan's tweet, but David immediately shot down the rumours.

"Nope, Josh Hartnett is not being discussed or anyone else for DD. That was just some wishful thinking, we are not at casting stage," he wrote on Twitter.

David - who is hoping to direct the remake - added: "More DD debunking. I am firmly against shooting in stereo so its unlikely to happen that way & Fox is rightly against 2D to 3D conversions."

Ben Affleck previously portrayed the superhero in Mark Steven Johnson's 2003 film Daredevil, which also starred Jennifer Garner.

Josh, who has appeared in Lucky Number Slevin, Pearl Harbour and Black Hawk Down, will next be seen in Roland Joffe's time-travelling adventure Singularity alongside Neve Campbell.

Gemini:

Someone will steal credit for your work, which is maddening. Drawing attention to the problem will only make you look petty. You're better off accepting the situation with quiet dignity and grace. Move on to the next assignment, but make sure to sign your name to every piece of work that is submitted. Tell your boss what you are doing on a regular basis. You'll sound like a pest, but at least it's better than getting stabbed in the back.More
