Sylvester Stallone has come up tops in a poll of action heroes.
The Expendables star was voted the greatest action man for his iconic role as maverick Vietnam veteran John Rambo by whatsontv.co.uk readers, defeating Expendables co-stars Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Die Hard actor Bruce came second for his role of New York cop John McClane, while Arnie took third place for portraying killing machine The Terminator.
Proving women can also be screen icons, Linda Hamilton as The Terminator's Sarah Connor was placed fourth, and Sigourney Weaver came in 10th in the list for playing gutsy Ellen Ripley in Aliens.
Other action men who appeared in the poll include Jean-Claude Van Damme in fifth position, followed by Steven Seagal, Chuck Norris, Dolph Lundgren and Kurt Russell.
