Snyder sends Stormtrooper photo

Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder has upped the ante in his photo mash-up contest with Star Wars director JJ Abrams by putting out a new picture.

The directors have been creating mash-up photos of their respective films while they work on them and Zack has unveiled his latest effort on Twitter.

He tweeted a photo of two Gotham City police officers bundling a Stormtrooper into a patrol car, as the Batmobile sat in the front of the shot, captioned "case closed".

Zack had started the contest in the first place when he tweeted a photo of Superman star Henry Cavill wielding a lightsaber, captioned "Super Jedi".

JJ hit back with an image of C3PO crouched on the ledge of a skyscraper and wearing a cape with the caption, "The C3ped Crusader".

Star Wars: Episode VII is due to be released on December 18, 2015 and Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice is due to be released on March 25, 2016.
