Emmerdale stars Mark Charnock and Dominic Brunt are inviting the walking dead back to Headingley for the sixth Leeds Zombie Film Festival.

The zombie-obsessed pair, who play Paddy Kirk and Marlon Dingle in the ITV soap, will be joined by film fans to watch six blood-thirsty films over the course of twelve hours.

Dominic said: "Mark and I have been spending our time arguing and fighting over the line-up and it's a strong year mixing foreign, classic and brand new. Every single film is a crowd pleaser."

The six films include 1994's Cemetery Man starring Rupert Everett, Cuban movie Juan Of The Dead, Cockneys Vs Zombies and Dominic's own film Before Dawn, which he directed and starred in.

"I cannot wait to show Before Dawn to its own rightful crowd as we couldn't show it last year," the actor added.

The Leeds Zombie Film Festival, which will feature a Q&A with Dominic and filmmakers Keith Wright and Matthias Hoene, will take place at Cottage Road Cinema on April 21. Proceeds will help raise money for the World Society for Protection of Animals (WSPA).

Tickets are priced at £15 and are available from www.leedszombiefilmfestival.com.

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Capricorn:

Your dry humour will be very popular. It's always difficult bringing a large group of people together. Everybody feels like they are walking on eggshells. After cracking a few jokes, you'll put the group at ease. Resist the temptation to make fun of relatives, especially the more sensitive members of the group. Nobody likes feeling singled out. Watching a light hearted comedy can also be a great way to generate a festive atmosphere. This is a time when people can put their differences aside.More
