Rafe Spall has praised his "very funny" I Give It A Year co-star Rose Byrne.
The Life Of Pi star appears alongside Bridesmaids actress Rose in the upcoming romantic comedy, about two newlyweds during their first year of marriage.
"She's an amazing actress. She plays my wife. I don't know who thought that up!" the self-deprecating star said.
"She's great. She's a lovely girl and a very funny actress."
Rafe plays a writer in Life Of Pi, Ang Lee's adaptation of the Yann Martel novel.
"Like all great works of art, whether it be a painting or a film, they change the way you see the world," he said of the fantasy film.
"Even if it's just for a little bit, even just for day, you sort of see the world in a slightly different way. And this film did this for me. I've never been so proud to be a part of anything in my life."
