Brendan Fraser has apparently joined the cast of upcoming action thriller Split Decision.
The Canadian-American actor will play a father who must protect his children from two murderers, and will also co-produce the movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film follows two children who witness a murder during a camping trip. A pair of villains, to be played by Dominic Purcell and Ethan Suplee, then try and hunt down the youngsters and Brendan's character sets out to rescue them.
Filming is set to begin shortly in Ontario, with writer-director Damian Lee also on board.
The Mummy star Brendan can next be seen in the drama Gimme Shelter alongside High School Musical's Vanessa Hudgens.
