Stallone drops teaser for Rambo 5
Sylvester Stallone has revealed the title for Rambo 5 - Last Blood: Rambo.
The action star unveiled the latest development for the fifth instalment of the franchise on Twitter, where he also gave updates on the new Rocky film and gangster thriller Scarpa.
"Going to Philly to start the film CREED.... What a great idea," he wrote.
The Expendables star will reprise his role as Rocky in the spin-off Creed, which will focus on Apollo Creed's grandson (played by Michael B Jordan) being mentored by Rocky Balboa. The movie will be directed by Ryan Coogler, who previously directed Michael in Fruitvale Station.
Sly then added: "Doing Scarpa based on Gangster Greg Scarpa after LAST BLOOD RAMBO..."
The 68-year-old filmmaker also shared a photo of his workstation, where there are no fewer than seven knives stabbed into the table.
"Where the screenwriting is done," the caption read, sparking speculation he has already started writing the fifth Rambo film.
Last Blood: Rambo, directed and co-written by Sly, would be the follow-up to the fourth film, Rambo, which was released in 2008.
Scarpa, directed by Brad Furman and written by Goodfellas and Casino's Nicholas Pileggi, is based on the true life story of Gregory Scarpa, a former mob hitman who became an FBI informant before his death from Aids-related complications in 1994.
