Sylvester Stallone has hinted that there will be a sequel to his box office hit The Expendables.
The actor appears in and directed the 1980s-style action romp about a group of mercenaries, which features stars including Jet Li, Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke and Dolph Lundgren.
He told the Hollywood Reporter he has "plotted out" a script for a sequel "in my mind's eye".
"I believe this group has to continue to evolve; it just can't become the same people. So how do you get new people introduced into the group, and how do you have some of the other people leaving? Those are the challenges," added Sly.
The movie debuted in first place at the US box office at the weekend after taking 35 million dollars, and Sly admitted he was thrilled with the result.
"I didn't do this all by myself. It was a movie about teamwork, and the team helped make it a success," he said.
