Terence Stamp could be set to star in the Anchorman sequel.
The Song For Marion star revealed during a Q & A that he has been in discussions with "Will Ferrell's people" about joining the eagerly anticipated follow-up to the 2004 film, reports Aint It Cool News.
The actor said he had been in talks about portraying a media mogul in the comedy, but that no formal offer had yet been made.
It was recently announced that the sequel, titled Anchorman: The Legend Continues, will be released in America on December 20 2013.
Will is set to reprise his role as 70s newsreader Ron Burgundy, alongside returning co-stars Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, Christina Applegate and David Koechner. Kristen Wiig is also attached to the film.
