Star Wars cameo role for Cruise?

Tom Cruise could be headed to a galaxy far, far away following rumours he is in talks to appear in Star Wars: Episode VII.

Speculation about the potential casting was sparked after the Mission: Impossible star was spotted meeting with director JJ Abrams in London.

A source told The Sun: "Tom has been in London for over a week and met up with JJ and some other people from Star Wars at the weekend. On Saturday evening, five of them met up for dinner and drinks at the Belgravia Hotel.

"JJ produced M:I5 and loves working with Tom whenever he gets the chance," the insider added.

Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, John Boyega, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong'o and Daisy Ridley join original members of the first Star Wars trilogy of movies Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford in the cast for the eagerly anticipated Episode VII, which will be released in December 2015.
