Star Wars: Channel 5's Sian Welby drops movie puns into weather forecast
In honour of the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens Channel 5's Sian Welby managed to cram in 12 Star Wars puns into her weather forecast.
Ms Welby said: ""Well it's another unusually mild day today with a Leia of cloud covering the UK - but if you Luke father west you'll be seeing a layer of sunshine, if you're Wookie."
"However there will be a fairly light breeze but the Force is strong for northern Scotland and tonight the weather [Empire] Strikes Back.
"There's a deep area of low pressure pushing in from the west, creating storm-like conditions for Northern Ireland and western Scotland. Don't be a [Storm] Trooper, please take care on the roads, it could be difficult driving conditions.
"Now if you're Forced to Awaken early tomorrow morning, it will be on the Dark Side but as you can see: fairly mild with temperatures in double digits.
"Far, far away to the southeast of England there's A New Hope for some sunshine developing in the afternoon."
In October Ms Welby also managed to drop Back to the Future puns into her forecast.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is in cinemas from Thursday December 17.
