Stars out for Capt America premiere

Samuel L Jackson is expected to attend the UK premiere of the latest Captain America film

Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans and Samuel L Jackson are among the cast expected to attend the UK premiere of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Scarlett reprises her role as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow in the Marvel sequel alongside Chris as Steve Rogers and his superhero alter-ego Captain America and Samuel as Shield leader Nick Fury.

Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan and British actress Hayley Atwell will also step out on the red carpet ahead of the screening, which takes place at Westfield London.

The film is directed by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo - who are also due to attend - and based on the characters from the Marvel comics.

It sees Rogers trying to adapt to living in the modern world, but he has to join forces with the Black Widow when he discovers a widening conspiracy which threatens to put the world at risk.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier will open in UK cinemas on March 26.
