Jason Statham has revealed he's definitely back for The Expendables 3.
The British action star is set to reprise his role as Lee Christmas in the third instalment of the action movie, which is being written by Sylvester Stallone and directed by Patrick Hughes.
"Of course. It would be silly not to, wouldn't it?" he said.
"Sly, as he likes to be called, or Sylvester Stallone as we know him, is a workaholic so he's going to do another one whether we like it or not. It's great - it's a guilty pleasure and is how action movies should be made. I don't know where we're going to shoot it, or if a particular story has been put together yet, but it'll be happening this summer, so we've been told."
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sly are already on board to return for the third film, and Sly is trying to get a host of action stars to join, including Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes, Nicolas Cage and Steven Seagal.
Jason - who stars in action drama Hummingbird - considers Sly an inspiration.
"He's such a legend and a man of experience - he's been on the top of his game for years and years. He's a creator, he's not waiting for people to pass him scripts, so you can learn a lot from a man like that," he said.
"No one knows how to make an action movie better than Sly. He's been there, done it and he's a film-maker and a writer. He's an auteur - he does everything himself so it's a one-man vision."
:: Hummingbird opens in cinemas on June 28.
