Stone climbs up best dressed list

Emma Stone has been named as the new style queen of the big screen

Emma Stone is the world's most stylish woman, according to InStyle magazine.

The Amazing Spider-Man star topped the annual list of best dressed beauties, ahead of fellow film stars Kristen Stewart, Anne Hathaway and Cate Blanchett, with the 24-year-old actress honoured for her designer "killer outfits" throughout the Spider-Man press tour.

Diane Kruger took second spot in the poll, followed by Twilight star Kristen in third place.

Other actresses who made the top 20 include Blake Lively, Salma Hayek, Marion Cotillard and Carey Mulligan, while Jennifer Lawrence, Hailee Steinfeld and Chloe Moretz were touted as "Hollywood's new power players".

British stars didn't do too badly, with TV host Alexa Chung, Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss and Florence Welch all making it in the top 10.

Even the men were honoured for their dress sense with David Beckham stealing the crown.

Andrew Garfield, Ryan Gosling, Robert Pattinson and Eddie Redmayne also appeared on the list.
