Emma Stone could be joining Woody Allen's next movie.
The Amazing Spider-Man actress is in talks to join the ensemble cast of the film, details of which are being kept under wraps, Deadline reported.
Woody, who enjoyed what critics hailed as a "return to form" with recent film Midnight In Paris, will be writing, directing and producing the as-yet-untitled movie.
Deadline reported that the Annie Hall director will shoot the film in the south of France.
Emma has previously called the US filmmaker one of her "heroes".
"I named my dog after him. Well, my dog's name is Alvie. And he's got pretty much the same personality type as Woody from what I've seen in the movies. He's definitely a neurotic New Yorker," she told Rolling Stone magazine.
Emma has been finishing The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and the comedy Birdman with Andrea Riseborough and Ed Norton. She's also set to star in Guillermo del Toro's Crimson Peak and an untitled Cameron Crowe film.
Woody recently completed Blue Jasmine, starring Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin.
