Submarine star Craig Roberts is to appear in a romantic thriller about an upmarket jewellery shop heist.
The Welsh actor, who got his big break as a child star in BBC children's show The Story Of Tracy Beaker, will appear in Comes A Bright Day alongside Imogen Poots and Timothy Spall.
Craig and Imogen play hostages caught in a robbery at a store in London's Mayfair.
Producer Christine Alderson said the film, which features costumes designed by Nottingham-born Paul Smith, would be "something very special".
The romantic thriller is being directed by Simon Aboud, the husband of Mary McCartney, Sir Paul McCartney's eldest daughter.
Filming is expected to begin next week in the capital.
