Shattered Glass writer and director Billy Ray and Alice In Wonderland producer Joe Roth are also said to be on board.

It is uncertain as to whether Channing, who won over fans with his portrayal of brooding Tyler in dance flick Step Up and as a soldier, John Tyree, in the romantic drama Dear John, is going to star in the film or act as a producer.
