Tatum to produce Peter Pan film
Channing Tatum is stepping behind the cameras to produce a new movie about Peter Pan.
The Vow actor - who has previously indicated he would like to produce more movies - was originally thought to be starring in Neverland, the latest silver screen look at JM Barrie's much-loved character.
However, Deadline reports that he will not be appearing in the film, just co-producing through his company, Iron Horse Entertainment.
So far it isn't known who else will work on the flick, which is said to be "an origin story of Peter Pan and Hook", but Warrior filmmaker Gavin O'Connor looks set to direct.
Earlier this year Channing, 31, who is married to his Step-Up co-star Jenna Dewan, revealed he wants to produce all of the movies he stars in.
The 21 Jump Street star said: "I really don't want to be in any more movies that I don't produce. Unless it's with one of the 10 directors that I really want to work with, I don't have any interest in not being on the ground floor of creating it."
