Temple Run game set for big screen

Harry Potter producer David Heyman looks set to work on a movie adaptation of the video game Temple Gun.

Warner Bros is currently in talks about taking the best-selling Imangi video game to the big screen, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Award-winning English producer Heyman - who also worked on George Clooney and Sandra Bullock's hit film Gravity - is set to oversee the project.

The mobile game was released in 2011 and follows an explorer who is being hunted by demonic monkeys after he steals a sacred idol from a temple. A sequel was released in early 2013, and there have also been spin-offs.

Heyman has worked on all eight of the Harry Potter films starring Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, as well as Hollywood movies such as Yes Man and We're The Millers.

He is also tipped to produce Potter author JK Rowling's next franchise, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.
