Billy Bob Thornton is set to star in a new film about the assassination of John F Kennedy.
The Oscar-winning Sling Blade actor will be joined by Oscar nominees Paul Giamatti and Jacki Weaver in the movie, which will be called Parkland, reported Deadline.
There's no word on who each star will play in the film, which is based on a book by Vincent Bugliosi and tells the true story of the chaotic events that occurred at Parkland Hospital in Dallas on the day the President was killed in 1963.
Playtone partners Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman are producing in association with Exclusive Media.
Peter Landesman will direct Parkland, which is expected to be released in 2013 around the 50th anniversary of the assassination.
