Thornton to join the Entourage?
Billy Bob Thornton is in talks to appear in the Entourage film.
The Oscar-winning filmmaker is said to be "in negotiations" to play a billionaire cowboy-turned-film financier in the big-screen version of the hit TV show, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Dillon and Jeremy Piven are already on board to reprise their roles in the Warner Bros film, which is written and directed by Doug Ellin.
The plot will focus on the making of a big-budget Dracula movie, which is being financed by Billy Bob's character, that is to star Adrian's alter-ego Vinnie Chase. Billy Bob's character will also send his son to Los Angeles to keep an eye on his investment.
The Entourage film is shooting around Los Angeles.
Billy Bob, who was previously seen in JFK drama Parkland, has completed work on comedy-drama The Judge, which also features Robert Downey Jr. The 58-year-old will also star in FX's 10-episode TV adaptation of Fargo.
