Thurman jumps into Nymphomaniac
Uma Thurman has apparently signed to Lars von Trier's erotic drama Nymphomaniac.
The Kill Bill star - who gave birth to her third child in July - has joined the star-studded cast, which already includes Shia LaBeouf, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Stellan Skarsgard, although no details are known about her role, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Charlotte stars as a girl who is found in an alley by an ageing bachelor (Stellan), and recounts her life of erotic adventures as he nurses her back to health.
Shia previously revealed to MTV News that he is "terrified" about the prospect of filming the raunchy scenes, saying: "There's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we're doing it for real. Everything that is illegal, we'll shoot in blurred images.
"Other than that, everything is happening. I'm terrified."
Jamie Bell, Connie Nielsen, Stacy Martin, and Christian Slater are also in the cast.
The film, which is being produced as two feature-length dramas (one more explicit than the other), is currently in production. The release date is yet to be announced.
