Tim Roth is set to return to the big screen, with a forthcoming role in Broken.
The English actor, best known for his roles in Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Rob Roy, will headline the cast of the drama, which also includes Cillian Murphy, Rory Kinnear and Bill Milner, said the Hollywood Reporter.
The film, adapted from Daniel Clay's novel and marking the directorial debut of theatre director Rufus Norris, follows an 11-year-old girl in a London suburb who, after witnessing a violent attack, finds it has huge repercussions on her life.
Tim will play her father, with shooting set to begin in the UK in coming weeks.
The 50-year-old - who has been focusing on TV series Lie To Me in recent years - has another home-grown movie lined up in dark comedy The Liability, alongside Peter Mullan and Tallulah Riley.
Deadline reports that he would film these two movies back to back.
