Justin Timberlake has denied rumours that he will be appearing in Annie.
There had been rumours that the singer, who released his new album The 20/20 Experience this week, could be starring opposite Quvenzhane Wallis as Daddy Warbucks in the Annie remake.
But a spokesperson for film studio Sony told the New York Post: "Not true."
There had been buzz around Hollywood, with sources claiming that Justin was being considered for the role and speculation that he would be teaming up with Jay-Z again, following their collaboration on Suit And Tie and going on tour together.
Rapper Jay-Z is producing the Annie remake with Will Smith, which Willow Smith was originally attached to.
Justin - who will be sharing the stage with Jay-Z at London's Wireless festival - will next be seen in the Coen brothers' musical biopic Inside Llewyn Davis and thriller Runner, Runner.
