Marisa Tomei is in talks to star in drama Love Is Strange.
The Wrestler star is in discussions to join John Lithgow and Alfred Molina in Ira Sachs' upcoming film, reported Deadline.
John has replaced Michael Gambon to play Ben, who is preparing for his wedding day to his long-time partner George (Alfred's character) after a 38-year relationship before they were allowed to legally marry, in the New York-set drama.
Marisa is rumoured to be portraying the novelist wife of Ben's nephew, who provides him a home when the gay couple lose their flat.
Filming on Love Is Strange is scheduled to start in New York in coming weeks.
Marisa, who won a best supporting actress Oscar for her performance in My Cousin Vinny in 1992, was previously seen in George Clooney's political drama The Ides Of March, romantic comedy Crazy, Stupid Love and court drama The Lincoln Lawyer.
Her next big-screen outing will be in comedy Why Now?! alongside Sam Rockwell and her younger brother Adam.
