Val Kilmer and Anthony Edwards are reuniting from their Top Gun days to take to the skies again in Pixar's new film Planes.
The pair have been confirmed to voice fighter planes Bravo and Echo, according to Empire.
Val, who played Iceman in Top Gun and Anthony, known for his role as Goose in the film, have just been announced as the latest cast members.
Pixar had been planning to send the film straight to DVD but has now decided to release the Cars spin-off in cinemas.
Cars director and Planes executive producer John Lasseter said: "I always felt every vehicle in the world of Cars is a character, and I love the idea of airplanes because you get off the ground and can take people places they have never seen.
"There's so much potential."
The film follows Dusty, a crop-dusting single-prop plane who wants to travel the world and race, despite his fear of heights.
He meets a variety of planes along the way, including Val and Anthony's Bravo and Echo.
Other confirmed voiceovers will be coming from John Cleese, Teri Hatcher and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
Planes is due to be released on August 16.
