Tracey Ullman going Into The Woods

Tracey Ullman is being linekd to a role in Into The Woods

Tracey Ullman is in talks to join the likes of Meryl Streep and Johnny Depp in the Disney film Into the Woods.

The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision Blog reports that the casting would be the TV actress and comedian's first film role since she appeared in I Could Never Be Your Woman in 2007.

Meryl, Johnny, Jake Gyllenhaal, Emily Blunt and Chris Pine are among those who have already been cast in the adaptation of the Broadway musical, to be directed by Rob Marshal.

Meryl plays a witch and Johnny a wolf, while Jake and Chris play princes to Cinderella and Rapunzel.

British-born Tracey, famous for The Tracey Ullman Show, will play the mother to Jack the Giant Killer, who is yet to be cast.
