Tracy Morgan: I wanted to make Bruce Willis laugh

Tracy Morgan wanted to make Bruce Willis laugh

Tracy Morgan has revealed why he wanted to work with Bruce Willis - to make him break out in laughter.

The 30 Rock star acts alongside the Die Hard actor in Cop Out, and made it his mission to outdo the other comic co-stars Bruce has worked with, such as Chris Rock and Steve Carell.

"Most of the time for me it was just about trying to make this guy laugh - he laughs, but it's Bruce Willis, you know," he said.

"He's worked with a lot of funny people before - Chris Tucker and others. I just wanted to fit into that standard."

Tracy wanted to be in Cop Out so he could work with Bruce.

"For me it was an opportunity to work with Bruce, that's self-explanatory - that's Bruce Willis. I just came in with that energy and that excitement," he said.

And the rapport between the leading duo is genuine.

Bruce said: "Yeah, we're going to do another movie together. If it's not the sequel to this, then it'll be something else."

:: Cop Out is in cinemas now.
