Transformers 4 title is revealed

Michael Bay's new Transformers movie will be called Age Of Extinction, it has been revealed.

The fourth instalment in the franchise about shape-shifting robots is due out in 2014 but until now it has been referred to as Transformers 4.

Studio Paramount unveiled the title along with the first teaser poster for the film, which features its name but doesn't give any hints about the plot.

The movie stars Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz and Sophia Myles.

TJ Miller, Han Geng and Chinese actress Li Bingbing also have parts in the film, which is the follow up to 2011's Transformers: Dark Of The Moon.

Transformers: Age Of Extinction is currently being filmed in the US and in China.
