The Tree Of Life, starring Brad Pitt, has triumphed in the Online Film Critics Society Awards, scooping five prizes.
Terrence Malick's epic drama, which also stars Sean Penn and Jessica Chastain, received the top honour of best picture of 2011, as well as best director, best supporting actress for Jessica, best editing and best cinematography.
Tilda Swinton was chosen as best actress for her heart-rending performance in We Need To Talk About Kevin, while Michael Fassbender won best actor for his portrayal of a sex addict in Steve McQueen's Shame.
Other winners included Christopher Plummer for best supporting actor (Beginners), Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy for best adapted screenplay, Woody Allen's Midnight In Paris for best original screenplay and Rango for best animated feature.
Jessica Chastain was also given the special award for breakout performer of the year, while Oscar-winning filmmaker Martin Scorsese was honoured for his work and dedication to the pursuit of film preservation.
Founded in 1997, the Online Film Critics Society, made up of film reviewers around the world, has been key in establishing and upholding the standards for internet-based film journalism.
