Stanley Tucci is set to tussle with gigantic robots after signing on to Transformers 4.
Director Michael Bay announced at CinemaCon that the Jack The Giant Slayer actor has joined the cast of the fourth film, reported Collider.
He is the fourth confirmed cast member alongside Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor.
Details about the fourth instalment of the shape-shifting robots are being kept under wraps, but the story will follow a group of "powerful, ingenious businessman and scientists who attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control - all while an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs".
Transformers 4 is scheduled to be shown in cinemas in 2014.
Stanley, who will next be seen in Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters, will reprise his role as Caesar Flickerman in the Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire.
The Devil Wears Prada star is also in talks to join action thriller Heat alongside Anne Heche and Cedric The Entertainer.
