Vergara in talks for Three Stooges
Sofia Vergara is in discussions to appear in the Three Stooges film.
The Modern Family star is tipped to play a femme fatale opposite Sean Hayes as Larry and Will Sasso as Curly in the Farrelly brothers' big-screen comedy, reported Variety.
Sofia's character in the film, which is made up of half-hour-long vignettes set in the present day, is said to be a "devious" woman who pretends to be the wife of a dying man and tells the Stooges she would pay them a handsome sum if they kill the man in his sleep.
The Colombian actress, who is best known for her portrayal of fiery Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in the TV comedy series, is no stranger to the big screen, having appeared in Tyler Perry's Meet The Browns, Catherine Hardwicke's Lords Of Dogtown and Soul Plane.
She will also appear in Garry Marshall's ensemble sequel, New Year's Eve.
