Vince Vaughn's Term Life cancelled?

Vince Vaughn's movie Term Life has reportedly been cancelled.

The Wedding Crashers actor was due to play the lead role in the crime drama but Universal Pictures has called off the film.

Deadline said the movie "just didn't quite come together strongly enough to get greenlighted".

Vince, who was also set to produce with his partner Victoria Vaughn, was due to play a low-life who had got on the wrong side of most people he knew, including the police, the mob and contract killers.

True Grit actress Hailee Steinfeld had been cast as his estranged daughter in the film, which was to be directed by Peter Billingsley.

Vince, 43, has several other projects coming up including comedy Delivery Man and the Anchorman sequel.
