Mark Wahlberg has confessed he binged on cookies once his tough training was over for new movie The Fighter.
The Departed star plays boxing champion Micky Ward in the Golden Globe-nominated film, which is released in UK cinemas next year, and underwent a lengthy and strict regime to get in shape for the role. So after it was all over he admits he over-indulged on "everything".
At the film's premiere in New York, Mark told People: "I just became obsessed with chocolate chip cookies and stuff that I never really had any interest in eating [before]."
But the 39-year-old actor's wife Rhea Durham was apparently disappointed he stopped training.
Mark revealed: "She said, 'You might as well take care of yourself.' But I needed a break from it. Certainly four and a half years was very draining. I needed that time off, and now I need to get back in there."
