Denzel Washington has claimed he doesn't "know anything" about whether Ryan Reynolds will be joining him in his new thriller Safe House.
"He says he's doing it? I don't know," was all the actor would reveal when pressed about reports that he's set to work with one of Hollywood's busiest young stars.
"I hear that rumour as well, but I don't know anything," the 55-year-old insisted in Los Angeles.
It has been reported that Reynolds is tipped to team up with the Malcolm X star to play the only survivor of an assault on a CIA safe house who, under attack, has to get a dangerous criminal (played by Washington) to another secure location.
A number of stars have also been linked to the project including Chris Pine, Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf, James McAvoy and Zac Efron.
I could listen to Iain read the phone book without getting bored. Maybe he'd let me nibble on the leftover food in his hipster beard. #GBBO— Long Tall Ally (@TheLongTallAlly) August 6, 2014
