Wasikowska: The camera is my shield
Mia Wasikowska has revealed she likes turning the tables on film crews by pointing the camera at them.
The Australian actress, who stars alongside Michael Fassbender in the new big screen adaptation of Jane Eyre, is a keen photographer and has started taking snaps on movie sets.
"It equals everything out. It's become my shield and my weapon," Mia told the Guardian.
"They're always poking measuring tapes in our faces, and cameras, so I just think: 'I'll do the same back'."
The 21-year-old also admitted she found filming on Jane Eyre - which is in cinemas from Friday - exhausting.
"(It was) quite physical a lot of the time, and very emotional, all the time," she said.
"I don't sleep very well in general, but I would be falling asleep any 10 minutes I had."
