Emma Watson is having the time of her life filming her latest movie.
The Harry Potter star, best known for her portrayal of Hermione Granger, has been busy filming the big-screen adaptation of Stephen Chbosky's seminal novel The Perks Of Being A Wallflower in Pittsburgh.
"We've been shooting for, like, two weeks now, and we have three weeks left - it's been great," she told MTV News.
"I'm having the time of my life. I really am having a very, very good summer."
For Emma, who plays Sam, the friend and love interest of Logan Lerman's character - the titular wallflower named Charlie - it's an unexpected return to somewhat familiar territory.
"It's so funny because I never thought I'd make another sort of high school-esque movie," she said.
"And here I am in this coming-of-age, American teen [film], but it's very witty, and it's very funny and it's very moving. I'm very, very excited."
The film, which also stars Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev, is slated for a 2012 release.
