Watson, Thewlis for Hawking film
Emily Watson has joined the cast of the upcoming Stephen Hawking film.
David Thewlis has also landed a role in The Theory Of Everything, reported Variety.
The film follows the relationship between the physicist and Jane Wilde, the arts student he fell in love with whilst studying at Cambridge in the 1960s, and those lead roles have already been filled by Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones.
It hasn't been announced who Anne Karenina star Emily or The Fifth Estate actor David will play.
The cast also includes Charlie Cox, Simon McBurney, Maxine Peake and Harry Lloyd.
British scientist Hawking, who has motor neurone disease that has progressed over the years, is now entirely paralysed and communicates through a speech generating device.
His first wife Jane was with him from the time of his diagnosis. They were married for 30 years. When they divorced in 1995, Stephen married his former nurse Elaine Mason.
Jane published a memoir in 1999, Music To Move The Stars, describing her marriage to the physicist and its breakdown.
The Theory Of Everything will be directed by James Marsh.
