Wes Anderson attracts stellar cast

Bruce Willis is one of stars lined up for Wes Anderson's new film

Wes Anderson's forthcoming period drama Moon Rise Kingdom has already attracted a stellar cast.

The list of names reads like a who's who in Hollywood and includes Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand and Tilda Swinton, who are all in talks to star.

Bruce, currently gunning down screens in action adventure Red, is in negotiations to play a New England town sheriff who looks for two young lovers who have disappeared - he's also having an affair with the missing girl's mother, to be played by Frances, reported Deadline.

Edward would be a scout leader who brings his charges on a search and Bill, a regular collaborator with Wes, would play the girl's father, who is dealing with his own issues.

Wes - whose last film was Fantastic Mr Fox - wrote the 1960s-inspired script with Roman Coppola and will begin directing it next spring.

If you're not able to provide them with the luxuries they crave, there will be problems. Then again, you have the potential for being a good provider, so all may be well.More
