Williams makes time for Double Hour

Michelle Williams is apparently in talks for The Double Hour

Michelle Williams is in talks to star in romantic thriller The Double Hour.

The My Week With Marilyn star is tipped to take the lead in the remake of the 2009 Italian film La Doppia Ora, reported The Wrap.

The film - which will be written and directed by Joshua Marston - follows a former policeman and a hotel maid who fall in love after meeting at a speed-dating event, but are later ambushed by a gang.

Michelle - who gave critically acclaimed performances in Blue Valentine opposite Ryan Gosling and as Marilyn Monroe in My Week With Marilyn - next stars as Glinda the Good Witch in Sam Raimi's Oz: The Great And Powerful alongside Rachel Weisz, James Franco and Mila Kunis.

The 32-year-old is also in talks to star in Saul Dibb's period drama Suite Francaise.
